Settlement of the Polish National Competition for the most interesting poem
organized by Evens Foundation

First screening of the latest film series directed by Ewa Zadrzyńska called „Poezja Łaczy ludzi – Moj ulubiony wiersz” took place on 9. July in Warsaw in the Kultura Cinema. The characters of the 5-minut short films are the winners of Evens Foundation’s competition.

The competition was open to students of primary, secondary school and college. The panel was represented by poet Adam Zagajewski, writer Janusz Głowacki, polish literature expert Maria Kotowska, film operator Jacek Mierosławski and the director Ewa Zadrzyńska. They have selected five winners, who’d sent the most interesting essay about favourite poem. 

The celebration took place in Kultura Cinema. The Minister of National Education Katarzyna Hall presented the winners with the awards. There were many prominent guests including: Janusz Głowacki, Urszula Dudziak, Szymon Majewski, Małgorzata Zajączkowska, Chris i Karolina Niedenthal, a representative of Finnish Government Koen Haverbeeke, the Minister Ewa Junczyk-Ziomecka and director Paweł Łoziński.
