Opening the new restaurant of Magda Gessler – Biała Gęś


I was looking for a Polish place that would have a tradition and a soul, where every corner remembers moments from the past. I have not found such a place, so I created the taste of pre-war Warsaw – said Magda Gessler, famous Polish restaurateur, who has just opened new place.  Biała Gęś near 18A Belwederska St. discovers secrets of elegant Warsaw and it captivates extraordinary atmosphere of the interior.

During the opening gala that took place on the 8th of June artists, film and television stars, fashion designers and businessmen were present. Among the guests were: Michał Żebrowski, Anna Popek, Kinga Rusin, Rafał Królikowski, Filip Bajon, Anna Ibisz, Szymon Majewski, Maciej Zień, Dawid Woliński, Tomasz Jacyków, Joanna Klimas, Mariola Bojarska-Ferenc, Katarzyna Niezgoda, Laura Łącz, Irena Eris with husband Henryk Orfinger, Chris Niedenthal, Marysia Góralczyk, Beata Ścibakówna and Jan Englert, Anna Kalata, Paula Marciniak, Aleksandra Nieśpielak, Karol Strasburger, Katarzyna Montgomery, Wojciech Fibak, Joseph Seeletso.

Biała Gęś serves traditional and exquisite Polish food. Specialty of the house is dishes with goose such as Baked goose leg on a forest cranberry sauce with potatoes. Apart from title dishes with goose  menu is full of delicious tastes. Guests can try Eastern style pink salmon tartar, Lamb chops on baked red onion or Grilled sirloin steak with coarsely ground pepper and fresh butter.

Restaurant has also special wine stock selected by Polish Master of Wine Steward – Tomasz Kolecki-Majewicz. In wine cart are only those, which are from the most popular regions from all over the world.
